Willows Talk is an online magazine currently covering a small range of creative and self-expression fields, including fiction, poetry, drama, advertising and more. Since we believe that today's children are tomorrow's bright minds, there is a special space devoted to the stories and poems written by them. Willows Talk has plans for the future, but at present, it likes to define itself as a small beginning of a Web-based magazine that only talks expression.

Why the name Willows Talk?

The tree of Willow came to us while flipping through the dictionary, looking for a name for a Web site. And later we found that Willow tree is not only part of Botany, but it also has its roots in folklore and Greek mythology. It signifies expression and all that is feminine -- moon, water, and the Goddess. In some folklore, it's described as a tree of deep emotions, intuition and dreaming. Greek Poet Orpheus is said to have received his gifts of eloquence from the Willow tree. Please read our About Willows Talk for detailed significance of Willows.
